Avoid injectables or aggressive treatments in the treatment area unless approved by your provider.

The Day of Your Appointment

Please arrive with:

Clean skin (no makeup, lotions, or sunscreen if possible)
Avoid shaving the treatment area the day of your peel
Inform your provider of any new medications, skin sensitivities, or recent sun exposure
POST-CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Immediately After Treatment

Redness and warmth – your skin may look pink to red and feel slightly warm, like a mild sunburn.
Tingling or tightness – common and normal for the first few hours.
Mild swelling – occasional, usually resolves within 24 hours.

The First 24–48 Hours

Keep your skin clean and hydrated using the Post Procedure Kit.
Avoid hot water, saunas, and heavy sweating, which can irritate your skin.
Do not pick, scratch, or peel any flaking skin to prevent scarring or hyperpigmentation.

Days 3–7 (Exfoliation Phase)

You may notice flaking, peeling, or mild shedding, which is normal and part of the exfoliation process.
Skin may feel dry or tight; use recommended moisturizers and avoid harsh products.
Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, or strong UV light. Always wear broad-spectrum SPF 30+.

General Guidelines

No waxing or exfoliating treatments on the treated area for at least 7 days.

Avoid makeup for the first 24 hours, if possible.

Continue gentle homecare as advised by your aesthetician; PCA Post Procedure Kit is recommended for optimal results.

PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Treatment area must be clean.
Do not apply any lotions, self-tanning lotions, makeup, or sunscreen before the visit.
Shave treatment area is advised. Waxing and hair removal cream must be avoided in the treatment area for a minimum of 2 weeks before and after treatment.
No spray tanning for 2 weeks before the tattoo removal and until the wound is healed.
Please advise technician of any photosensitive medications such as Accutane that you are currently taking. Cannot treat on Accutane. No anti-biotics 3-5 days before treatment. Your provider may ask you to stop oral or topical medications prior to treatment.
Avoid sun exposure. This includes tanning bed and the use of spray tans or tanning creams. For an effective treatment, patients should maintain their natural skin tone.
Avoid using harsh chemicals on the treatment area for 1-2 weeks prior.
POST-CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Sunburn-like sensation can be present for 1-3 days.
Redness and swelling are typical. Bruising can happen on occasion
Avoid excessive heat build up for 24-48 hours. You can shower. No soaking in a bathtub, hot tub or swimming until the wound heals.
A cool compress can be applied for discomfort. Tylenol can also be used for discomfort.
Leave the treated area intact. Do not pick, rub, scrub or scratch at the skin throughout the healing process.
Your skin will begin to crust(small flat scabs) within 72 hours of the treatment, which can last anywhere from 7-14 days on the face.
Avoid sun exposure. Use sunscreen.

PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Discontinue the use of products containing active ingredients (such as AHA's) if the user is tolerating them well.
Discontinue use of any products causing erythema (redness) must be discontinued 15 days prior to treatment, and can be resumed once the treatments are complete.
Discontinue use of products containing AHA's, Retinols or Isotretinoin may increase your skins sensitivity to the sun and potentially the possibility of sunburns. The combination of AHA's or Retinol products with as application may increase the skin sensitivity even further. Use SPF and limit sun exposure one week prior to an application and throughout the treatment process.
POST-CARE INSTRUCTIONS
After the application your skin will look brighter, tighter, plumper and more rested.
There can be mild flaking (this means the skin had dead skin cells to shed), and moderate redness.
Sometimes patient's will notice sagging or creping post treatment.
Swelling may occur, especially due to allergies.
Both the flaking and redness can be relieved by applying the WiQo Moisturizing Face Cream for Dry Skin.
Immediately after and in the days following the application you will apply the WiQo Moisturizing Face Cream for Dry Skin to restore the hydrolipidic film.
Avoid Saunas and Steam Baths for 48 hours post application.
Makeup may be applied immediately after the application.
Daily SPF use of 30 or higher is recommended.

Peptides, antioxidants, stem cells, vitamins A, C, and E, and growth factors work very well.
Use physical sunscreen. Sun care products should be applied no less than every 30-90 minutes.
